A gentle, 5-minute body-connection practice. Its purpose is not to force relaxation, confidence, or pleasure, but simply to help you notice your body, listen to its signals, and make one respectful choice.
Notice the chair, bed, floor, or other surface supporting you. Allow your shoulders to lower slightly, but do not force them to relax. Let your breathing remain natural.
Notice whether your body feels tired, restless, heavy, guarded, calm, numb, or uncertain. Every response is valid information.
Slowly look around and gently acknowledge your surroundings. Click each as you notice it:
You are not commanding your body to relax. You are reminding it that you are present and listening.
Bring your attention to one neutral or manageable physical sensation. It might be:
Stay with that sensation for two or three breaths. Do not search for a special feeling. Even numbness or uncertainty can be noticed without criticism.
Move your attention gently through your body. You do not have to change anything. Simply ask: “What signal is my body giving me?”
